Who we are

ITSW is a sole proprietorship operated by Gatis, based in Latvia, European Union. For any question about this policy or your data, contact hello@itsw.lv. ITSW is the data controller for personal data processed through this site.

What data we collect

We collect only what's needed to respond to you:

• Contact form submissions: name, email address, optional company name, and your message.
• Cookie preference: a small local storage entry recording whether you accepted or declined non-essential cookies, and when.
• Basic hosting logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard technical data (IP address, browser type, request timestamps) for security and reliability purposes, as is standard for any web host.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, or tracking pixels on this site.

Why we process it, and on what legal basis

• Responding to your enquiry - processing your contact form submission is necessary to take steps you request before entering into a potential engagement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or based on your consent in submitting the form (Art. 6(1)(a)).
• Cookie preference storage - strictly necessary to remember your choice (Art. 6(1)(f), legitimate interest in not re-prompting you).
• Hosting/security logs - legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and operational (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Who we share it with

We use a small number of processors to run this site and communicate with you:

• Resend - delivers contact form emails to ITSW. Your submitted name, email, and message pass through Resend's infrastructure to reach our inbox.
• Cloudflare - hosts this site and its serverless contact form function.

All fonts and scripts on this site are self-hosted and served from itsw.lv - your browser does not contact Google, content delivery networks, or any other third party when you view this site.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond what's needed to run this site and respond to you.

International data transfers

Cloudflare and Resend are US-headquartered companies, so processing your data through them can involve transfers outside the European Economic Area. Both provide GDPR-compliant safeguards for such transfers: Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and offers Standard Contractual Clauses in its data processing terms, and Resend processes data under Standard Contractual Clauses as part of its data processing agreement. We do not transfer your data internationally beyond what these two providers require to deliver hosting and email.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and for a reasonable follow-up period, and are deleted when no longer needed for that purpose or for legal/accounting requirements. Cookie preference records live in your own browser's local storage until you clear your browser data or withdraw consent.

Your rights under GDPR

As a data subject in the EU, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request erasure of your data
• Restrict or object to processing
• Request a portable copy of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time (this won't affect processing already carried out)
• Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority - in Latvia, the Data State Inspectorate (DVI)

Cookies & local storage

This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. The only browser storage in use is a local storage entry recording your cookie-banner choice, which stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. If analytics or other non-essential tools are added in future, they will only load after you actively accept them via the cookie banner.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change accordingly. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
