Who we are
SIA ITSW (registration No. 40103949691), based in Riga, Latvia, European Union, is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. For any questions about this policy or your data, contact hello@itsw.lv or +371 25 474 934.
What data we collect
We collect only what's needed to respond to you:
- Contact form submissions: name, email address, optional company name, and your message.
- Basic hosting logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard technical data (IP address, browser type, request timestamps) for security and reliability purposes, as is standard for any web host.
This site uses no cookies and no analytics. No tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or analytics scripts of any kind run on this site, and nothing is stored in your browser.
Why we process it, and on what legal basis
- Responding to your enquiry - processing your contact form submission is necessary to take the steps you request before entering into a potential engagement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or based on your consent in submitting the form (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Hosting/security logs - legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and operational (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Who we share it with
We use a small number of processors to run this site and communicate with you:
- Resend - delivers contact form emails to ITSW. Your submitted name, email, and message pass through Resend's infrastructure to reach our inbox.
- Cloudflare - hosts this site and its serverless contact form function.
- Microsoft - runs Microsoft Bookings, used only if you book a call.
All fonts and scripts on this site are self-hosted and served from itsw.lv - your browser does not contact Google, content delivery networks, or any other third party when you view this site.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond what's needed to run this site and respond to you.
Links to other services
The "Book a 30-min call" button opens Microsoft Bookings in a new tab. If you choose to book a call, the details you enter (name, email, and the time you pick) are processed by Microsoft as our processor, and the booking lands in our calendar. The WhatsApp link opens a chat in WhatsApp, which is governed by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy, not this one. For WhatsApp, we only see what you send us in the chat.
International data transfers
Cloudflare, Resend, and Microsoft are US-headquartered companies, so processing your data through them can involve transfers outside the European Economic Area. Each provides GDPR-compliant safeguards for such transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not transfer your data internationally beyond what these providers require to deliver hosting, email, and booking.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and for a reasonable follow-up period, and are deleted when no longer needed for that purpose or for legal/accounting requirements.
Your rights under GDPR
As a data subject in the EU, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data
- Restrict or object to processing
- Request a portable copy of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time (this won't affect processing already carried out)
- Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority - in Latvia, the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, DVI)
